Verizon Targets “Road Warriors” and Remote Workers with New Mobile Hotspot Plans

Verizon added four new mobile hotspot plans for giving “road warriors” and other remote workers access to on-the-go data.

Plans range from 15-150 GB per month, with three tiers – Plus, Pro and Premium – including access to 5G Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology. Options, which are available to existing Verizon customers, include:

  • Essential ($20/month) – 15 GB mobile hotspot, plus 720p HD streaming on 4G LTE.
  • Plus ($40/month) – 50 GB mobile hotspot, 5G UWB access and 4K ultra-high-def (UHD) streaming.
  • Pro ($60/month with eligible Unlimited plan or $90/month standalone) – 100 GB mobile hotspot, 5G UWB and 4K UHD streaming.
  • Premium ($80/month or $110/month standalone) – 150GB mobile hotspot, 5G UWB and 4K UHD streaming.

All plans, it was noted, may incur throttling once surpassing their threshold.
