Bandwidth to Provide Early Access to BYOC for RingCentral

Bandwidth, a global enterprise communications platform and cloud-native carrier, revealed plans to deliver early access to a new “Bring Your Own Carrier” (BYOC) solution for RingCentral.

The company will extend its Duet solution to include the RingCentral Message Video Phone platform. This integration is designed to allow large enterprise customers to migrate legacy, on-premise business communications to the cloud, while offering enhanced flexibility and control.

Duet for RingCentral – which employs software-driven tooling and Bandwidth’s open cloud communications platform – offers real-time access to contacts, carrier-grade SIP (session initiation protocol) trunking, business texting and emergency services to ease migration challenges and support unbridled telephony from a UC platform, using Bandwidth as the carrier.

“Compounding the unique challenges large organizations face migrating and modernizing their communications stack, is the equally important driver to facilitate global communications at scale,” said John Bell, Chief Product Officer for Bandwidth. “Bandwidth’s BYOC solution for RingCentral will not only simplify the move to the cloud but also aims to deliver a single pane of glass to global organizations as they look to centralize communications and realize greater operational efficiencies.”

RingCentral provides global enterprise cloud communications, video meetings, collaboration and contact center solutions.
