AT&T Upgrading FirstNet Cell Sites in Alleghaney County, Maryland

AT&T is upgrading its FirstNet cell site infrastructure in portions of Alleghaney County, M.D.. This infrastructure is designed to “advance public safety” and bolster wireless connectivity for remote workers and other users.

The added capacity will specifically boost coverage in and around Crespatown, LaVale and Frostburg.

AT&T’s ongoing collaboration with FirstNet, “America’s public safety network,” promises access to “always-on, 24-hours-a-day priority and preemption across voice and data” for first responders.
