Cloud identity security solutions provider ThycoticCentrify has been ranked in the “Leaders quadrant” for Privileged Access Management, by Gartner.
The company – which was formed out of the April 2021 merger of Thycotic and Centrify – saw both brands represented in Gartner’s 2021 “Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management” report. This document examined 10 competitive vendors based on “completeness of vision and ability to execute.”
“We are proud that both Centrify and Thycotic have again been recognized as Leaders in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management,” said Art Gilliland, the CEO of ThycoticCentrify. “We believe the strengths recognized in the report for each company support our position that we are better together as one company, specifically around synergies related to product strategy and innovation, sales execution and delivering a world-class customer experience.”
Per Gartner, spending for privileged access management is projected to grow 17 percent to $2 billion, this year.
Both Thycotic (2020) and Centrify (2018 and 2020) were ranked in previous-years’ reports.
