CVx Releases Educational Programming Schedule, Names Keynote Speaker

With the expo floor nearly sold out, and pre-show registration at a record high, CVx (ChannelVision Expo) continues its momentum by unveiling its full educational programming schedule, now posted to the official show site at

After 10 years as a collocated event, CVx goes to the next level on Nov. 2-4, with its inaugural standalone conference and expo at the Talking Stick Resort & Casino in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Concurrent sessions will take place across two stages, on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 3-4. The morning sessions kick off with complimentary coffee and breakfasts for all attendees.

Rather than a lot of pop and presentation, CVx panel sessions will center around frank and productive dialogue and discussions about real-word experiences of selling within a key segment of emerging services.

Attendees of CVx educational programming can be confident they will see no slides of vendor bios or feature sets and hear no product pitches nor 10,000-foot perspectives. Instead, the panels of sales-level experts will breakdown recent use cases and dive into “the details of the deal” in order to expose channel partners to new opportunities and plans of attack.

“Our promise to attendees is they will walk away with practical plans and proven ideas to help them navigate a sale,” explained Martin Vilaboy, editor-in-chief of ChannelVision and Remote Work Solutions Magazine. “From identifying the opportunity to matching functionality to business outcomes, discussions will cover who the buyer is, why they buy, the questions posed, and pain points addressed, customer outcomes and the hot buttons that helped close a deal.”

CVx panel sessions also are intended to facilitate free and open spaces that foster interactive and spontaneous dialogue on the topic being discussed. Attendees will be encouraged to interact with panelists, swap war stories, share barriers faced and efforts that have broken through. We then hope those conversation carryover to the many networking and social events also taking place at the CVx Expo.

In addition to the schedule of panel discussions, security training experts GoldSky Security will present a mini-bootcamp identifying the sweet spots for partners and MSPs looking to offer or dive deeper into SMB cybersecurity services.

John Cox, COO and managing partner at GoldSky Security, will address questions concerning how to offer additional IT security, privacy and compliance readiness solutions; the types of products to offer; and how to avoid potential conflicts of interest. Attendees will walk away with an understanding of how they can assist SMBs in minimizing risks of malware attacks and data theft, including case studies and time for Q&A.

CVx also is excited to host its keynote speaker, Bruce Wirt (pictured), CRO of Telesystem. Wirt will share his “Four Ps” to coaching and developing business and sales leaders: first know their Purpose, apply fuel to their Passion, and then operate with Perseverance and Positivity. He will explain how the four Ps serve as foundational skills to building long and successful careers and provide motivations that are in direct control of the individual.
