Thoughtfully Designed Education is Major Draw at CVx EXPO22

The educational sessions scheduled for CVx EXPO22 are perhaps the most thoughtfully designed of any conference you’ve ever attended. This is because of ChannelVision and Remote Work Solutions Magazine Editor-in-Chief Martin Vilaboy doesn’t want to waste your time.

During his more than two decades covering the industry, he’s been to a lot of conferences and attended a lot of educational sessions that haven’t lived up to their promise. So, when ChannelVision decided in 2021 to launch its own conference, Vilaboy went to work focusing on how to make educational sessions truly beneficial.

“Our promise to attendees is they will walk away with practical plans and proven ideas to help them navigate a sale,” Vilaboy said. “From identifying the opportunity to match functionality to business outcomes, discussions will cover who the buyer is, why they buy, the questions posed, and pain points addressed, customer outcomes and the hot buttons that helped close a deal.”

CVx EXPO22 takes place Nov. 2-4, at the Talking Stick Resort & Casino in Scottsdale, Ariz. The CVx educational sessions are divided into two tracks running concurrently in the morning – with complimentary coffee and breakfast – of Nov. 3-4, leaving attendees plenty of time for visiting the exhibit floor and networking in the afternoons. To get a seat at any of these sessions, you must register as a CVx EXPO22 attendee. To book your room at the Talking Stick, click here.

Rather than a lot of pop and presentation, CVx panel sessions center around frank and productive dialogue and discussions about real-world experiences of selling within a key segment of emerging services. Attendees can be confident they will see no slides of vendor bios or feature sets and hear no product pitches nor 10,000-foot perspectives.

Attendees also will be encouraged to interact with panelists, swap war stories, and share barriers faced and efforts that have broken through.

The educational panels comprise sales-level experts who will share recent use cases and dive into “the details of the deal” geared to provide channel partners new opportunities and plans of attack. Vilaboy and Peter Radizeski, President RAD-INFO Inc., a telecom strategy and marketing consulting agency, will moderate the panels that will cover these topics:

  • What You Need to Start the Security Convo?
  • The Three Sides of an SD-WAN Sale
  • Sales Engineers’ Tips to Selling Key Technologies: SASE & Cybersec
  • The Office of One: Finding the Dollars in Supporting Remote Work Forces
  • Selling CCAAS to Non-Call Centers
  • You Don’t Have to be an MSP to Sell Managed Services
  • What’s Wrong with How UCAAS Is Being Marketing & Sold
  • Secrets for Channel Managers
  • No Better Time to Sell Boxes
  • Two-Part Cybersecurity Mini-Bootcamp: The Sweet Spot for MSPs in the CyberSecurity Ecosystem presented by security training experts GoldSky Security.
