O2 Business Launches Work from Home Solution

O2 [UK] Business has a new digital workplace offer to help employers get the latest devices and benefit from an end-to-end service to support remote working. For a monthly charge, the device-as-a-service package offers customers a choice of devices and a range of services, such as replacing lost, stolen or broken phones within 24 hours.

All devices will be delivered direct to the employee and O2’s Enrolment and Managed Logistics services means they are ready for use straight out of the box. At the end of the agreed term, the devices can “be refreshed” to keep the business’s use of tech up to date.

Customers can save up to 26 percent compared to if they were to buy the devices outright and are not restricted to one specific handset brand – models from Android, Apple and Samsung are offered and the cost can be spread over three years via O2 capital financing services.

The Digital Workplace portfolio from O2 offers visibility and control of devices from a central portal to help customers stay secure and protected against malware and phishing attacks, and the full Microsoft 365 suite of apps with O2 Voice for Microsoft Teams.

O2 Voice for Microsoft Teams offers “enterprise-grade” PSTN voice access with direct routing for domestic, international, inbound and outbound calls – the idea is that the consolidation of voice services, reduces costs and management overheads.

Jo Bertram, Managing Director of O2 Business, said: “Flexible working environments may be a gift for some employees, but it can be a lot of added pressure on businesses to provide the necessary equipment and IT services that keep the show running.
