New laptop computers from LG Business Solutions are designed to help businesses equip their employees for the work-from-anywhere, BYOD business culture.
The 2021 “LG gram for business” models combine lightweight, ultra-thin designs with long battery life, solid-state storage and LG IPS displays to deliver powerhouse performance from the cubicle to the home office to the cafe to the boardroom.
The “gram for business” laptops are available in seven configurations with 14-, 15.6-, 16- and 17-inch sizes plus two 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop/tablets in 14- and 16-inch sizes. All nine configurations feature 11th generation Intel processors and Intel Iris XE graphics that ensure fast, smooth operation for any task
Content creators will love the 17-inch (model 17Z90P) and 16-inch (model 16Z90P) gram laptops, both of which offer a WQXGA (2560×1600) IPS display along with 16GB of RAM, thin bezels and a 16:10 aspect ratio that increases vertical screen real estate when compared to a 16:9 ratio, for critical applications including design and editing software.
Comfort is enhanced as well, thanks to redesigned backlit keys that are wider and higher than previous versions, and a dedicated numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard that simplifies and expedites numeric tasks.
Both sizes feature an 11th generation Intel i7 2.8 GHz processor and 65-watt PD power supply (USB-C). The 17- and 16-inch grams offer up to 19.5 hours and 22 hours of battery life, respectively. And each size offers either 1 TB or 512 GB solid state hard drive options to handle business storage demands with ease.
The 14-inch gram (model 14Z90P-N) is ideal for business travelers, weighing 2.2 pounds. With an Intel i5 2.4 GHz processor, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB solid-state hard drive and a 16:10 WUXGA (1920×1200) IPS display, it’s the perfect take-along companion for any work that doesn’t require a large screen. Using the same 65-watt PD power supply, the 72Wh battery charges quickly and provides up to 25.5 hours of power* for all-day or multi-day use away from outlets.
The 15.6-inch gram (model 15Z90P) finds the middle ground for general work needs and sticks with the standard 16:9 FHD (1920×1080) IPS LG display for those who prefer that aspect ratio. This gram has two configurations, one with an 11th generation Intel i7 2.8 GHz processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 1 TB solid-state hard drive, and the other with an 11th generation Intel i5 2.4 GHz processor, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB solid-state hard drive. The 80Wh battery delivers up to 21 hours of use* on both configurations of the 15Z90P and uses the same power supply as the larger models.
These LG grams for business all feature a full metal body made from magnesium alloy and meet MIL-801G Military Standards. Each includes a stylish hidden hinge, hardware TPM security functionality and a convenient fingerprint power button that allows users to start up and log in with a single touch. Connections include a 3.5mm headphone out, two USB 3.2 ports, an HDMI port and two USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 ports with power delivery (PD).
The 2-in-1 convertible laptop/tablet models are a designer’s dream featuring a 360-degree swivel touchscreen that allows for four distinct operating positions: traditional, tablet, tent and stand. The 14-inch (model 14T90P) weighs 2.76 pounds while delivering excellent performance with an 11th generation Intel Quad Core i7 processor and at 2.8 Ghz, a 512 GB SSD, a WUXGA (1920×1200) touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 6 and 16GB of system memory.
The 16-inch (model 16T90P) features the same processor and system memory as the 14-inch, along with a 1TB SSD, a 16-inch 16:10 WQXGA (2560×1600) display and a weight of 3.26 pounds.
Both models provide 99 percent of DCI-P3 colors, making them the perfect canvas for the included Wacom AES 2.0 pen, which has 4,096 levels of sensitivity to help maximize performance of artistic applications.
