Forrester released a new report detailing the top “Zero Trust” network access companies, worldwide. This report – “The Forrester New Wave: Zero Trust Network Access, Q3 2021” – noted that VPN (virtual private network) performance issues drove organizations to adopt ZTNA for secure remote access “more than any other factor.” These companies, it was noted, employed ZTNA to keep remote employees working.
The ranking looked at vendors by criteria such as deployment flexibility, non-web and legacy applications, ecosystem integration, device security support, client support, connector capabilities, security inspection, product vision, planned enhancements and product and services support.
