Headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., ChannelVision Magazine always thought the city was a bit special. That’s one reason the partner- and communications-oriented trade magazine believed it should host its CVx EXPO, Nov. 14-16, at the Talking Stick Resort & Casino in Scottsdale.
Now, a WalletHub survey of 2023’s Best & Worst Cities for Recreation reinforces ChannelVision Magazine’s decision, as Scottsdale ranks among the Top 10 cities in the United States. WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities across 48 key indicators of recreation-friendliness. For each city, it examined the accessibility of entertainment and recreational facilities, the quality of parks and the weather. Scottsdale ranked sixth overall.
Scottsdale, a suburb of Phoenix, is considered part of the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area, which also received attention this week for being named one of the nation’s best “partying” cities, by OLGB, The Sports Betting Community, coming in at No. 9.
With this kind of information available, you’ll understand why we say the CVx EXPO is the place to “Recharge your channel sales for 2024.”
CVx Expo attracts an audience of technology brokers, agents, MSPs, telecom and IT resellers, as well as channel managers and executives from leading service providers for three days of highly curated educational sessions, plenty of networking opportunities and a trade show floor featuring the latest industry products and services as we celebrate another successful year in the channel.
To help Scottsdale live up to its reputation as a great place to recreate, CVx offers organizations and vendors several activities they can sponsor to enhance the chance to meet, greet and make deals.
These CVx Partner-Vendor Meet-Ups are intimate, high-impact, activity-based business networking opportunities for sponsors to build goodwill with new partners or strengthen relationships with existing partners.
Opening with the CVx Golf Tournament, Nov. 14, at the Talking Stick, we also have the Opening Reception beginning at 4 p.m. on the Trade Show Floor.
Activities organizations can sponsor on Nov. 15, at the Talking Stick include a poker tournament or a pool party.
If you prefer to get away from the casino and venture into Scottsdale to see why the city has the reputation as a “playground” of sorts for adults, the Nov. 15 activities we offer organizations to sponsor include High Octane E-Kart Racing (sold), VIP Boutique Bowling Night, Evening at Top Golf, Scottsdale Party Bike, and in following the latest sports craze, we look to launch our Inaugural Pickle Ball Tournament.
Sponsors of any of the activities can invite their own guests or let CVx select potential partners to attend the events that take place on-site or within a few miles of the Talking Stick.
