JupiterOne Announces Investments from Cisco, Splunk Ventures

JupiterOne, a cyber asset-management and governance solutions provider, announced Cisco Investments and Splunk Ventures as its newest investors.

With the investments, JupiterOne noted that it will be better positioned to offer a more expansive and connected cybersecurity platform, help companies and teams securely grow and serve customer need.

“We’re pleased to announce Cisco Investments and Splunk Ventures as strategic investors,” said JupiterOne founder and CEO, Erkang Zheng. “Our mission is to deliver knowledge, transparency and confidence to every digital operation in every organization, large or small, via graphs to interconnect all entities in a complex digital ecosystem. We’re grateful to have their support and a shared vision to help our customers reduce complexity, to know more, and fear less.”

The news follows the company’s May 2021, $30 million Series B funding round, led by Sapphire Ventures, as well as a September 2020, $19 million Series A round.

The JupiterOne platform integrates continuous cyber-asset data for security operations and engineering, cloud-based security, configuration management and compliance. The company’s graph-based cyber asset management platform, in particular, provides contextual analysis of cyber assets for security engineering and operations.
