You still have time to register for the last channel partner event of the year, CVx EXPO22, which opens next week, Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the Talking Stick Resort & Casino in Scottsdale, Ariz. Once CVx EXPO22 closes on Friday, Nov. 4, no other channel events are scheduled until 2023.
After spending 10 years collocated with another industry event, ChannelVision Magazine decided it was time to present a show that puts a priority on focused education for the partner community.
“Our promise to attendees is they will walk away with practical plans and proven ideas to help them navigate a sale,” said Martin Vilaboy, ChannelVision and RWS Magazine (Remote Work Solutions) Editor-in-Chief. “From identifying the opportunity to match functionality to business outcomes, discussions will cover who the buyer is, why they buy, the questions posed, and pain points addressed, customer outcomes and the hot buttons that helped close a deal.”
Vilaboy vowed to present educational sessions that are focused on the session subject instead of promoting the participants of poorly disguised company advertorials.
“Our sessions will focus on real-world sales and success stories, and they will provide a ‘street-level view’ of the cases where customers currently are using the tools of digital transformations to their advantages. The conversations at CVx will dive past the product pitches and into the details of the deals being made by your channel partner peers – from prospecting and opening conversations to beating down barriers to closing and implementation,” Vilaboy added.
“We will encourage participation in our intimate and interactive environments that permit attendees to swap their own war stories; get to the source of their pain points; discuss their challenges, frustrations and successes; and use the collective power of the room to source solutions and actionable advice,” he said.
CVx Expo will attract an audience of technology brokers, agents, MSPs, telecom and IT resellers, as well as channel managers and executives from leading vendors and service providers. The trade show floor will feature the latest industry products and services.
The educational panels comprise sales-level experts who will share recent use cases and dive into “the details of the deal” geared to provide agents with new opportunities. Vilaboy will be joined by Peter Radizeski, President RAD-INFO Inc., a telecom strategy and marketing consulting agency, to moderate the panels covering:
- What You Need to Start the Security Convo?
- The Three Sides of an SD-WAN Sale
- Sales Engineers’ Tips to Selling Key Technologies: SASE & Cybersec
- The Office of One: Finding the Dollars in Supporting Remote Work Forces
- Selling CCAAS to Non-Call Centers
- You Don’t Have to be an MSP to Sell Managed Services
- What’s Wrong with How UCAAS Is Being Marketing & Sold
- Secrets for Channel Managers
- No Better Time to Sell Boxes
- Two-Part Cybersecurity Mini-Bootcamp: The Sweet Spot for MSPs in the CyberSecurity Ecosystem presented by security training experts GoldSky Security.
Along with the panels, CVx EXPO22 will feature Telesystem CRO Bruce Wirt, who will give the event’s keynote address. Wirt will share his “Four Ps” to coaching and developing business and sales leaders. The Four Ps include:
- First know their Purpose
- Apply fuel to their Passion
- Operate with Perseverance and Positivity
Wirt will explain how the four Ps serve as foundational skills to building long, successful careers and provide motivations that are in the agent’s direct control.
“Between Martin and I, we have more than 50 years’ experience attending industry shows,” said Beka Business Media owner Berge Kaprelian, the publisher of ChannelVision and RWS magazines. “We know what works and what doesn’t, so we have worked long and hard to create an event that provides plenty of exhibition hours and networking opportunities but also is geared to providing partners with practical education.
“After two decades of writing about, working with and serving the channel space, CVx EXPO22 is going to do it right, and we’re excited to kick off our own trade show for the channel,” Kaprelian said.
