Auvik Names Four to Leadership Team Amid Growth

Auvik, a provider of cloud-based network management software, announced four new appointments to the executive leadership team amid an accelerated growth phase for the company.

Auvik achieved 44 percent revenue growth and a 41 percent increase in employee headcount in the second half of 2022. As the company evolves to meet customer demands on a global scale, Auvik has appointed Bob Feller as Chief Financial Officer, Courtney Harrison as Chief Human Resources Officer and Siva Ananmalay as Chief Development Officer. Auvik’s co-founder, Alex Hoff (left) also has taken on a new role as Chief Strategy Officer to focus on shaping the organization’s long-term approach to maintaining the rapid pace of growth.

This growth stage follows Auvik’s three acquisitions in 2022:

  • Saaslio, a leading SaaS discovery solution enabling companies to securely manage applications;
  • Boardgent, an intuitive platform for managing and protecting desktops and laptops remotely;
  • MetaGeek, an industry-leading provider of Wi-Fi tools that help network professionals more efficiently deploy and maintain wireless networks.

These integrations enable Auvik to expand its capabilities and improve the end-user experience, providing a unique toolset that gives IT professionals more control, visibility and troubleshooting capabilities over the new last mile of the office network.

“This expansion of Auvik’s leadership team is timed to meet the moment as we extend our product portfolio and add the talent needed to support this stage of growth,” said Douglas Murray, CEO, Auvik. “We now have a leadership team in place to ensure Auvik is positioned to integrate our newest products and deliver on our promise to provide customers with the tools necessary to address today’s modern network challenges.”

As organizations continue to develop their workforce around IT-based infrastructure, the need for network visibility and security multiplies. Auvik’s 2023 Network IT Management Report – an annual survey of 4,500 IT professionals across North America – revealed that while 86 percent of IT professionals support remote workers, only half monitor critical components of today’s enterprise network (including SaaS and cloud-based applications) or manage Wi-Fi. Additionally, with 45 percent of this year’s respondents reporting they are measured on the satisfaction of their end user or customer, the practicality and ease-of-use of this infrastructure is ab critical.

Although many have yet to invest in a solution, 30 percent of respondents shared they plan to invest in Wi-Fi management and/or SaaS and cloud monitoring solutions within the next 12 months, which emphasizes the continued projected growth in this area of software. IT teams recognize their visibility gaps as well as the unnecessarily huge amount of time and effort involved in manually managing modern networks – time that could be better spent on strategic plans and operations.
